3th Congress

Appeal to all the Catalan towns and cities for welcoming the 3rd Catalan Bicycle Congress After the celebration of the 1st Catalan Bicycle Congress in 2006 and of the 1st Public Bicycle Conferences in 2007, the 2nd Catalan Bicycle Congress and the International Conference of the Police and the Bicycle, which will be held from 28th of may to 1st June 2008 in Barcelona, has been convoked.

The 1st Congress, as well as the 1st Conferences, were held in the city of Barcelona. This 2nd Congress will be held in the city of l'Hospitalet de Llobregat, consolidating this event as a reference point of the bicycle promotion in Catalonia and in Spain. Due to this, the Congress invites all of those towns and cities interested in accommodating the 3rd Congress, foreseen to be held the year 2010, to present their candidacies.

The cities interested may present a letter of intent that defends their candidacy and send it by e-mail to info@congresbicicat.org until May 23, 2008. The proposals will be presented to the Organizing Committee and the city will be announced during the 2nd Congress.
